some Bram Cools music

oh wait, Bram Cools is me, well, nevermind…

For the not-knower: It’s poorly recorded badly played weird music made in belgium, sometimes influencec by the madness in my mind, the Christian faith, the weirdness of this world, and by various styles of music ranging from folk to avant-garde…most of it can be found at last.fm, and the ‘sketches for a liturgy’ is still found on www.bramcools.tk :

happy birthday denison

Some more free music:

Denison witmes is a singer-songwriter with a soft voice and a guitar, making vulnerable songs. He has been collaborating with people like sufjan stevens, rosie thomas and the innocence mission on his more recent CD’s, but these mp3′s are from a series of 33 solo home-recorded songs he did for his 30th birthday party, to be a present to the world. And you can also donate for his favorite charity in exchange for the songs, see the story here:

Here some of the songs, the rest can be found here, together with some suggested playlists for non-denison witmer fans:

Are You A Dreamer?
Leaving Philadelphia
Little Flowers

Paper Doll

Prayer Of Saint Francis — Traditional

the psalters

Let’s start with one of my all-time favorites, the psalters. A wild bunch of nomadic christian anarchists, travelling around the globe in a ‘converted’ black bus on used oil, that make intriguing music! Their influences are very diverse, ranging from various traditions of folk and religious music, electronic & noise, and things one cannot recognise , unless knowing all weird music on this planet. Their manner of life, and their beliefs are even more interesting as their music, if possible, but now I’m gonna focus on the music… These mp3′s are on their official site. Be warned, it is very intense and wild music!:

Hosanna
Amal

Ol’ Glory (demo version)
badlands (demo version)

the man on the moon and the man in the cup (demo version)
The Lord’s Prayer

El Elyon (live)
Banner
C-Blue (demo version)
